FAQ
1. Do you offer additional services besides weight loss?
a. Although we focus on weight loss, we do address a few other issues closely related to obesity and overall health, such as hormone therapy (except for direct testosterone replacement (see controlled substances FAQ), hair loss, and prescription wellness supplements.

a. We do not prescribe any controlled (scheduled) substances.  This means that we do not offer phentermine or any other medications that are scheduled medications by the DEA.  You can learn more about the different schedules and find a link to see an alphabetical listing of controlled substances at: https://www.dea.gov/drug-information/drug-scheduling

 4. Do you require in office visits?

a. We do offer prescriptions for nausea if needed.  Treatment for other side effects will be determined on an individual basis.

8. Do you require bloodwork?
a. It depends on the provider’s judgement based on the patient’s intake questionnaire and medical history.  Generally, we typically would like to see basic laboratory results for overall health within the last 6 months (CBC, CMP, TSH, FLP).  You can submit results by our patient portal, email, or fax.  We can offer additional lab tests if needed (e.g., vitamin levels, hormone levels (required if requesting HRT), etc.

a. We do not accept insurance.  However, we aim to provide reasonable telehealth service prices and work with the best compounding pharmacies to offer affordable medication options.
